I've been extremely enjoying my new house, especially the new running trails! I have yet to go the exact same way on a run:) Something that is super cute is that Ryker insists on going on these runs, since he is the early bird of the family. As much as I appreciate a run/time all to myself, which is few and far between these days, there is something very special about running with Ryker. He is always so cheery and anytime I need encouragement he will yell "Go MOMMA! Run! Mamma! Run!" Sometimes in the middle of the run he will say, "Momma, I"M TIRED." Uh-huh. Ok Ryk.
AND then when we get home usually he says, "Mommaaaa...I'm thirsty. I'm hungry. I'm tired." Those runs sure wear the kid out...I mean seriously sitting in that stroller is ROUGH.
It all makes me extremely happy to know that my children have and will continue to see their Momma run/workout all the time. I want them to know that this is something I believe in, that it is something they can do for self-care, for fun!!
Love that lil Ryker.
