Ice cream queen.

This dad has been giving this girl ice cream since she was a wee wee one. Now she has been trained, or should I say he has been trained. The girl goes crazy when she sees ice cream!

This girl.

Yeah, that cute one.  

It sure is a good thing she's cute.

Girl been growin'!  

Growin means crawling all over the place, exploring , discovering, investigating, following, playing.  Cute.  

Growin means waking up at 12:00, babbling, crawling around the bed, hanging out with Dad until 3 am on the floor.  Cute.  

Growin means smiling, laughing , babbling, pulling on Daddy's beard, giggling at her brothers.  Cute.

Life is good.

Little people

The boys have been using their imagination like crazy today. The neighbor gave us their set of little people. Russ and I were in the kitchen when we heard Ryker yell, "oh nooooo baby tornado."

Lol. Dempsey had spilled the swimming pool!!

Exhausted.

Wow. First day back. I'm exhausted. Geesh. I can't get over that it's just Monday. Man. Friday will be beautiful:) I think I might just collapse...hah! The transition from summer with 3 babes to a new job just feels huge today. I am able to take off my glasses a bit and realize that it won't feel like this always...the first month may be rough. But it will get better:) Dempsey did pretty good at daycare....the boys did too.

Yeah, it's a biiiig one!

A light.

Ryker has been sucking at sleeping for the past year. I swear it!!! I remember thinking a couple months before Dempsey was born, " man: ryk better do better at sleeping or this is gonna be rough".  It's been so bad the past week or so that I've actually put a child lock on the inside of his door so he would stay in there. Talk about feeling horrible-I just was running out of options and honestly...energy. After researching sleeping options, talking with family and friends...my MIL gave us the idea of keeping a light on. And allbedamned... Russ stayed in there for 5-10 minutes and then left, with the light on. And no fuss....

I'm not touching that light in fear of waking a monster. But man....hopefully we are on the road to better sleep with that guy! 

In other- similar but different news- Dempsey is starting to sleep all night! And by all night I mean she goes to bed around 8/9 and will sleep til 6am. It's been rough the past two nights but teeth are coming in! It's amazing what crawling and eating more solids does for the girl!!!

I realized that we haven't posted pictures from our new house! We've went to work getting it ready!  So here is a picture tour of what we are working with...

We wouldn't have been able to do this without babysitting help, moving help, lots of hanging from Russell (and me), painting help, and lots of other help:)

It's good to be home for 10+ years, hopefully.
