Time Goes By....

Little Big AJ passed out on me after school. I can't even tell you the last time this happened. School is hard work!

This girl! Her fave sayings this past week while recovering from being sick:
•Leave me alone!
•Go away!
•Upies (a blend of up, please!)
•Nice to see you (she said this one after a visit to see our friend Julia and Ember)
•Momma! Don't sing this song!
•My kitties! (She has three kitties that she loves currently. 1 is from Riya and 1 is from Grandma)

oh sister!

AJ!

This publication is from AJ! It's so cool to see how far he has come!  Proud of this guy!

New guy!

Met our new nephew two weeks ago! I'll let the pics do the talking. What a cool, chill and handsome little guy!! And when did my kids get so big!

I Need a New Butt!

I happened to buy this book the other day and it is nothing butt(heh!) shenanigans.  I can't decide if it is a. Totally horrible and promotes unstoppable discussions about butts or b. Awesome because it encourages reading and laughter. Either way it did encourage this text to Russell the other night! I did blur the image for, um, privacy reasons.
I seriously don't understand Ryker and his awesomeness, but I can't get enough of it!
Love,

This guy.

So proud of this little dude. He reminds of an old man sometimes. Here he is rocking in a rocking chair, with a blanket, in front of the fire.
He rocked his conferences last week. Again the first thing his teacher said is he is a "kind student". Proud of this guy!

On the influence of brothers...

Demps on the car ride home from spectating our first roller derby bout:  "Momma, a airplane!"
"It's a rocket!"
"It eat a shark."
"It eat a car."

Tomboy for the win.

Colding you up

Meg just put her cold hands on Ryker's belly, to warm them up.

Meg:  "What?  You're warming me up."
Ryke:  "No, you're colding ME up."

Well played Ryke.  And I agree with you.

Poor Demps

The last week she has been a bit cranky at night time. There is a decent chunk of yelling "Daddieeeeeee" "mommmmmy" " daddy, I love you." She'll repeat for at least an hour. I just wish we knew what was going on....separation anxiety, a leap? What little girl???❤️momma

Randomness!

•AJ called me out during reading time the other night. I tried to tell them they were supposed to clap and AJ told me, "Nope! See mom. It doesn't say clap!"  Darn little dude can read now!
•Snow days Rule!
We had our second one this school year! Fun pancakes!

Sledding-in which everyone participated instead of one of us holding a baby! Sledding-zoned out.
AJ was super brave last weekend and tried out one of those stationary roller coaster thingy without any of his family!
Baseball times! Rykee can seriously hit the ball!
It gets very interesting taking a little girl who is obsessed with stuffed animals and anything pink to the store right now. She about died!
•Ryker put on his seatbelt this afternoon all by himself. The best part was when he exclaimed, "I knew I could do it!" seriously. He was so freakin proud.
Still trying to figure out this girl and bedtime. The new plan is having her sleep in the room with her brothers. Tonight's the first night and we are 10 minutes away from scrapping the whole plan. Dsnow wants Mom & Dad, bottom line. But her brothers are putting up the good fight. I have heard things like, "It's ok Dempsey, I'll help you chill down." "can Dempsey sleep in my bed with me?" "it's ok Dempsey we are here for you." These boys love her so freaking much. It's so sweet.  I'll report back on what happened tonight, in the morning.
This guy. It's pretty amazing seeing him go to work on our basement.  It's one of those things, when you watch the person you love do this thing that they are so talented at and you really had no idea. I mean Russ is always handy and has put together rooms before. But this is the biggest project yet. I'm amazed at all he knows. He also figures out spots that I can get in and help, which is crucial to my teamwork nature. Best thing is he, usually, makes it completely fun!:) I'm way more competent in my tool skills than I have ever been in my life.  Love this dude.

That's all for now. It's been eerily quiet from the kid room for the last 5 minutes.
