Take our Children to Work Day

I took the boys to IBM for the festivities this year again.  Always such a good time!  Only problem is that the boys now are convinced that all I do at work is make ice cream, drive Spheros, and build Lego robots. I wish!

Always Dempsey had a date with Momma this morning and spent her first day at Becky's house without Ryker.  Sounds like she was excited and did just great.

We went over to the park the other day and the kids were climbing around. For the first time Dempsey really wanted to climb this structure. AJ took over the big brother duties and walked her through the whole thing. "demps, put a foot here. Ok, now grab here. Good! Ok now you can sit here."  I was impressed by how well he gave directions to her.  I love watching when these kids work together. It is truly the sweetest thing in the world. They trust each other.  It's something I hope they always have.

Flag Football

AJ is doing pretty good at flag football this Spring.  Scored a touchdown today!  This is his Heisman pose.... or something....

 

Hockey

Took the kids to their first hockey game last night, the Colorado Eagles.  It was a great time.  Kids loved all the loud dancing music, candy, soda, cotton candy, donuts, oh yeah and the game haha.

 

Darth Vader

There we were, in the reading closet, reading our nightly book. Russ was close by looking at his phone and breathing, heavily.  In the middle of book Ryker said, "Dad-you sound like Darth Vader."  We completely appreciated the chuckle!  And he was pretty spot on!

Spring Break Rules

We've had a great time over spring break.  Makes it no fun for me to work while the kids are at home.  I find ways of getting in on the fun!
