Yep so I escorted some VIPs at work yesterday.

Demps was getting her seatbelt on the other night. She was struggling, and it was super quiet in the car. We hear this tiny grunt and she says “ohhh Damnit.” Lol. Can you believe that? This little one, with that word?

Ryker man

This guy is just so wonderful! Today he was all dressed and all the sudden jumped and said, “Oh! It’s dress nice day!” He ran upstairs and changed! Then he brought over his library book because it was library day. Yesterday he led the charge on going to STEM night at his school. He remembers everything and wants to do it all!

Preschool Assessment

Oh sweet Demps is headed to Preschool next year. It’s bittersweet. We’ve been with our amazing daycare person Becky for a long long time now. She is amazing and has helped raised these little people of ours. We decided that we just really wanted to make life a bit easier and get all kids in the same place. So Demps is headed to preschool. Yesterday she had her assessment. She did so well!  When asked what is her name she spelled it out instead, showoff! When they asked what do people call you, she said “Snow.”

Guy time

I’ve been wanting to spend some time with Mr Ryker lately.  Middle-child, you know.  So tonight we did just that.  A little shopping at Play It Again Sports for a new workout bench, then to Get Air (super fun!), and finally to Red Robin.

Ryke said he wants to go back to Get Air a thousand times.  Also said it was super fun about 10 Times.  He also thinks it should be called “Get IN THE Air”.  It was so fun jumping with him and watching him, he is part kangaroo for sure.

The purple LEGO

Scene: I’m taking a shower this am.

Ryk: Mom! Mom! AJ $&;&/@(something I can’t understand) a LEGO.

Me: AJ fell on a LEGO?

Ryk: No! AJ swallowed a LEGO!

Me: where is he? Is he choking?

AJ: Hi Mom! No, I’m fine. It was a small tiny circle purple LEGO. I drank some water and I’m fine.

Me: Well, I guess it’ll come out in your poo later.

AJ and Ryk erupt into laughter and run off.

Oh parenting.
