Wiener has things to do

Ryker and AJ laying in our bed this morning, cuddling and being goofy.  Talking.  A lot.  Ryker jumps up and races out of the bedroom:  “My wiener has something it has to do!”

I think you can figure out where he went.  Oh.... this guy.  

Next Ryker story.  Us boys donned our summer haircuts on Monday.  Buzzed nice and short.  Then we all showered up.  When I saw Ryker again after the showers, something seemed off.  He had 2 shallow short lanes cut in the front on his hair.  Meg and I sat down with Ryker and we each took turns looking at his head and then each other, and back and forth, for a whole minute without saying anything.  I was 99.9% sure that I hadn’t screwed up his hair THIS BAD, but he denied cutting it himself!  Later that night the truth finally came out: he decided to get a little curious about how mom’s pink razor in the shower is used.  Haha!  What a goof!

Super Bowl

Flag Football is over now.  There was a tournament and Super Bowl on Saturday.  AJ spent much of the 2 games on the bench, you know life isn’t fair and all.  But who caught a pass and scored the only 6 points for the team in the championship?  This guy!  In my humble opinion, the coaches should have done that play a lot more since you know, it worked!

Meg and I shed some proud parent tears for Mr AJ.  Nice work little buddy!

Kinder Celebration

Yes, we are in fact the proud parents of another kinder grad! The class of 2030???? Could it be? I got all weepy and sentimental about the fact that we were sitting in the very same room two years ago with A.J. watching and being oh so proud. Ryk is quite the guy! Charming, loving, an athlete, a smart guy, a feeler of all things!
