I just had to document somehow two interactions AJ had yesterday in middle school. First one: He has a classmate that suddenly lost his high school brother. The classmate had been out for awhile, and I had talked to AJ about talking to him once he got back. He got back yesterday and I asked AJ if he said anything. He told me yes. He said “Hey man, I’m really sorry to hear about your brother.” I was so proud of him.
The other thing was he was walking to the car after his robotics team with his friend and these two older girls said “Hey…you wanna be my friend?”. AJ simply said “Nope…” and immediately started giggling. I saw the girls laughing too. Hah! Talk about not being super shy anymore!!!
