AJ is winning right now.

His robotics team just took 1st place at his own school’s tournament.

It was insanely awesome!

Talk about a team effort situation.

He also brought home this:

Another 4.0 for his second quarter in middle school.

She’s got a full face and all. She tells me “Gotta go,” as she zips up her purse backpack. I ask, “where are you going?” She said, “A party….on Mars!”

30 of the past 70

We've had an interesting few months. Since November someone in our household has been quarantined 42% of the time.  And if one of us is quarantined that means that in all likelihood all of us shouldn't be out and about.  THIS means we've had a TON of family time.  It's been good, and it's been stressful, and it's been bonding, and it's been suffocating.  In the end we are super lucky to be quarantined with a family and in a lovely house that has awesome things in it.  

But still.

We were able to get out to Kearney for a 30+ hour trip.  It was nice to see the cousins and family!  We packed it full, and it was great.  On the way home, AJ ended up becoming symptomatic with his second bout of Covid is about a month and a half.  Luckily it was pretty minimal, but still it caused all kinds of things.  Russell getting COVID, the younger two being quarantined the first week of school.  

This Sunday we all got out together.....we had breakfast at a restaurant and the kids all got COVID shots.  It was so freaking fantastic to have them....finally....start their COVID shot journey.  

Welcome to 2022 ....bring on the Endemic....geesh.
