These kids.

AJ had officially become taller than me. He’s obsesssed with telling me this…”Mom, i’ll grab that because i’m taller than you.” “Oh do you need help, here I’ll get it since i’m taller.” lol. Fine fine fine. I knew it was coming …but it happened quick.

Ryk has been hungry all weekend, so it’s only a matter of time for him.

Dempsey couldn’t sleep tonight, so she brought her diary in and we are both journaling.

Proud Momma

So today was a super proud Momma Day!

1. Dempsey turned in her form to join the Kidzing Choir. It’s a choir at school that has a performance. Dempsey loves singing in her bedroom, but has said she wouldn’t join because she was too nervous. But she was brave and decided to go for it!

2. Ryk had his first student council meeting today. He has to complete an application and went for it! And he got in. He was concerned that he would have to do announcements on the loud speaker. But when I picked him up today, he said that he actually thinks he might want to try “just one time.”

3. AJ participated in Robotics club today and for the first time asked if he could stay after the club to go to the girls volleyball game. Im not quite sure if he did it because he got to smooze candy from a friend or to actually watch the game. Either way-he went and supported his school! It’s the first time he’s ever asked to do that!

Big stuff! The kids are being brave and trying new things and I just am so darn proud of them. I was super shy in school and I think I missed out on opportunities because I wasn’t sure how to combat my shyness. These kids are figuring it out!
