Weeks=Months?
Well I decided that I wanted to do a scrapbook page for Aylen every month. But then I started to get too confused--how many weeks equal a month. And for a Math minor like myself-I decided that I could not take this stress of converting. So-I've switched his scrapbook pages to be every 4 weeks! So here is his 8 week photo:)

Take Your Aylen to Work Week
my thoughts
pre-aylen: There is NO WAY I could stay at home with a child. I have so much respect for those people that can, but there is just no way.
aylen (0-2 weeks): Thank goodness I have 8 whole weeks home with this sweet baby.
aylen (2-6 weeks): WORK, heck yes. Where do I sign up? I'll work 3 jobs-"the colic" is too much.
aylen (7 weeks-present): OH MY GOODNESS. How the heck do I leave this smiling sweet boy??? There is just no way. I'm never working ever!
But it had to happen...work that is! It has been great seeing my coworkers again, I did miss them that is for sure:) Not only did work begin, but we also attended a fundraiser for my work (bluegrass festival) that was AWESOME, and Aylen got his first shot today. Here are the pictures:

First Day on the Job-(sleeping in the first hour-he knows how to work)
(Moby was necessary at work!)
(It was a hot one-but Aylen loved it!)
(All that remains from the shot that made Mommy cry more than Aylen-thank goodness Dad was there to hold arms!)
Alrighty-that is a bit of what this past week has entailed! It's been crazy! And to think that Russ starts school this week....oh hold on! It's going to be a crazy ride!

Well, you know THEY SAY....
stay off your feet while pregnant.
there is no reason to go natural when you have all these great drugs.
there is no reason to go natural when you have all these great drugs.
don't hold your baby too much, you will spoil him.
babies should be held carefully. their necks just aren't strong enough.
going on a car trip when your baby is 2 1/2 weeks is not a smart idea. good luck.
don't drink while breastfeeding.
your life will change forever. (ok, that is one thing that is completely true:)
