The man with More Patience than Anyone I have EVER met.

Please meet my Dad.  Yea that guy in the screen.  Known as Grandpa, but for a 22 month old it is "Papa".  My Dad is awesome.  Enough said.  I'm super lucky.  Great grandparents for my children.  THE BEST I should say.  They will never wonder if they are loved by their grandparents not one bit.  I feel like these are memories that I never want Aylen to forget.  While Grandma has been here she came up with the Great Idea to get Dad an iPod so that they could FaceTime together.  This has made for amazing EVENINGS, where Grandpa joins us at the dinner table, the train table, in the bath (well outside of the bath), on the couch, around the house, PRETTY much everywhere.  The other night Grandpa was working out and stopped his workout to sit on the floor and FaceTime with Aylen for an hour.  We propped Grandpa up at the dinner table and Aylen showed him his AMAZING ability to suck up spaghetti noodles.

Sometimes Aylen will give a tour to Grandpa.  WHAT I love is that we adults will all be going about our business and Aylen will be busy playing and we don't hear Grandpa.  We will ask, "Aylen where is GRANDPA ??"  And in the distant we will hear, "I'm over here."  Sometimes Aylen has dropped Grandpa off at the train tracks on the train table..other times Grandpa is just laying out on the carpet.  And it could be 15-20 minutes before we know that Grandma's phone aka Grandpa is laying on the carpet staring up at the ceiling.  MOST PATIENT MAN ever.

Recently, Grandma will ask Aylen is he wants to talk with Grandpa and Aylen will begin yelling, "Papa, Papa, Papa!!!"  until he picks up the phone.  I love that even though Grandpa is on the other side of the United States he gets to witness Aylen and all of his coolness so much more with this video chat.  And kudos for Grandma for making this happen.  We need all the help we can get:)

Love, Momma!
