After nap AJ came into my closet and was talking to me while I packed. I'm headed out to go support some amazing friends from Monday-Wednesday. AJ asked what I was doing and I said "I'm packing." AJ looked up at me and his voice quivered, "Mom, I'm really going to miss you while you're gone." And then he took his little big hands and wiped some tears from his eyes. Talk about dropping me to my feet, hugging him hard and wiping my own tears. Since I've been home this summer I haven't really been gone more than a couple hours from them. I know I'm special to him, but to have him actually articulate that to me...well it was magical. A mOm highlight....
