AJ the Performer

AJ has been working on a diorama for the past few weeks. He is then set to present it this Friday for his 30 classmates. It is his first official presentation for school. We had a great talk about deep breaths, ways to not talk too fast, being loud, why it’s important to practice, why presenting is important, etc. We talked about how it’s important to do things like this because the more you do them, the more skills you gain on how to successful get through these types of things!

The other day we got home from school with Mya and Trevor. AJ decided to put on a full scale presentation for us. He created money to buy tickets, a ticket stand, seating, and a stage. In attendance were Russell, Ryk, Demps, Mya, Trevor, Kyle (their Dad) and myself. It was only his second time going through it, but he made it through. Even with the distraction of younger boys!  I don’t think I would ever be so brave to do that when I was in 2nd grade.

Later that day he also created a band with his siblings and covered some AC/DC. It was incredible, and I believe the boy can dance!;)

Yesterday he was on the football field throwing, catching and running! It’s fun to see we have a well rounded little big guy:)

Love, momma
