Parenting is Hard

Parenting is real hard. But what is really really hard, keeping track of who knows what in regards to fictional holiday secret people. AKA when is the gig up, and to whom is the gig up for, and who knows what.

So far Ryk was able to put together that a handout that I used for Elf on the Shelf was on my computer….which of course blew that real quick.

Then….we forgot about being the tooth fairy for AJ until 330am. AJ stirred in his sleep, and I told Russell to go for it because we weren’t going to stay up any long until AJ fell back asleep. AJ came down the stairs in the am, and stated… “I know.”

Lastly, Ryk and his darn amazing ability to listen to everything even when he doesn’t look like his listening. This Easter I made a statement .. “Hey why don’t you take these bars that I bought.” These bar were in the Easter Bunny Pile. I calmly said… “I mean that you got for Easter.” Ryk caught my eye and winked and smiled at me.

So….it actually has been adorable and I have enjoyed these awakenings (or slip ups by us)… Good stuff.

Love,
Mom
