South Padre Reunion

We went on a getaway to South Padre for our 4 day weekend a bit ago. There were many highlights:

• Reunited with all 3 of my siblings and it had been close to 4 years ago that last time we were all together.
• I got SOME solid time hanging with my new niece Enid. She is just the best and it was so fun hanging out with her. I also love giving my brother and SIL a break:) AND AJ loved playing with her which was super fun to see.
• I WAS not in crutches -like last time. This was the best! I could jump waves (even though it was freezing), I could go crab hunting, I could climb stairs without wanting to die!
• We made some epic sand castles!
• My Grandma and Grandpa were there-and I got some solid time hanging out with them. I wore my Grandma's mother's ring, and we took a picture of both of us with the rings on. TALK about SPECIAL!
• My Grandma told Russell that he looked "fine without his shirt off." This gave the me and the aunties quite the chuckle!
• Grandpa told me "You have a nice family, Megan." I told him the same:)
• We had a little less than 40 people there, which is a SMALL gathering for us. This was nice though to catch up with my family!
