Casa Bonita: The Wait is Over!
That’s right, folks—it finally happened! After 2 (or was it 3?) years on that darn waitlist, we made it to Casa Bonita! The adventure unfolded last Wednesday, and let’s just say… we weren’t exactly firing on all cylinders. Russell and AJ were still recovering from a nasty illness, and poor Ryker had just gotten his bottom braces on. Enthusiasm levels were low—well, for everyone except me. I was thrilled to revisit this iconic spot!
As we rolled up to the strip mall and caught sight of that glorious pink tower, the kids’ curiosity kicked in. And once we stepped inside, everyone’s energy turned up a notch! We had a fantastic time—and only had to take out a small mortgage to cover the bill. Seriously, it’s so expensive now!
But you know what? Totally worth it. Now the kids can say they’ve experienced Casa Bonita—and they’ll actually remember it.
