Bring Momma Back Post.

That's what I'm calling these types of posts.  Bring Mama Back because she has been away!  And these posts are going to consist of bullet points outlining the things going on in this house!  AND whoah.  Is all I have to say.

  • Dishes, dusting, laundry, and Casa de Fruvellhoff's-are all being neglected right now.  Priorities is all I can say I guess.
  • 2011-the Year of Jumping out of the Nest.  Oh, yes I like the ring of that.  There will be a blog post talking more about this...but here's the skinny skinny.  I quit my job-I become a temporary stay-at-home-mom-Russ applies for jobs in Colorado-I apply for Jobs in Colorado-we get INTERVIEWS-we interview in Colorado-while interviewing we find out we are pregnant with #2 (Biscotti is the name-again blog post coming)-we arrive back home and I get offered a job-after a phone date Russ and I decide we're doing it-I accept-I start May 31st as a domestic violence advocate at Safehouse Denver-Russ puts in his notice-I start packing-Russ starts fixing things up-and O.M.G. we are moving to Colorado.
  • Aylen-sweet Aylen John! I love him, alot!  He has figured out crawling (finally!!!!) and boy does he love getting around and finding things to put in his mouth!  He has 6 teeth and counting.  He is so handsome and during our recent trip to Texas he again rocked the airplane and received the most compliments ever on his "spider-leg eyelashes".
  • RUSS finished the semester.  Hallelujah!!!! Seriously-anyone that knows me or Russ knows that this is always cause to celebrate!  2 more classes left and finally Russ can put something in the empty frame right next to my Masters:)
  • Guilt about being pet owners.  It happened.  I didn't think it would happen but it did.  My animals were always my babies and nothing would change that--not even that "thing" growing in my belly.  But then Aylen came-and he rocked our world.  And now these animals that perpetually puke, getting in the way, or keep us up at night-GET ON MY NERVES.  I know that this won't be a super popular bullet point-but i'm just being honest.  I've never taken in something and then given it away.  It's not my style.  But daggum.  It's not fair to the animals.  Not at all.  AND ultimately when life gets crazy something has to give.  So right now we are in pursuit of finding Dublin a home.  We love that big guy-but we can't give him what he needs.  He needs to run, he needs constant attention--he needs cool parents.  We have lost the coolness factor in some ways because we got a lot GOING on.  So as Russ says we are being good parents by placing our animals with people who will love them and give them what they need.  Sammy will stay with us and maybe a cat or 2, but something has to give:( Tear.
  • I asked for a sign about--"Should we stay or should we goooo?  If I go will there be trouble"....etc etc.  And we got a kind of sign from our Awesome (notice the Capital A) neighbor.  Well Russ got the sign and told me about it since I was in Texas.  He said the  coolest things to Russ--like...."Your place is the biggest sh*^hole."  "Your yard is a Sh&*hole", "I'll buy your place for 50,000 just so I  can doze it down,"  "You're horrible neighbors."  But, in all coolness he did offer to throw us a Good Bye party and EVEN said he would do ANYTHING to help us sell our house.  He's a swell guy.
Well that's a snippet of what's being going on around here! Hopefully I will find some time to go into detail a bit more.  BUT i miss you all!!

Love,
Momma
