Love our family here in Colorado. So special.
Because we can't go long without a project! Our second story deck in full effect! Russell is a master builder, and luckily we have awesome guy friends that work for food and beer, and friendship:)
We all got haircuts, Dempsey included. And she dressed in her best dress and was a big girl on the swings!
Ryker's first cross-over ceremony. From Lion to Tiger!
I think Ryker says it best here. Our first week of summer was full of all sorts of fun! It's hard not to do it all!
AJ crossing over from Wolf to Bear!
While the boys attended baseball camp, Demps and I had some solid girl time. It's so important to get this one on one time. I let her choose, for the most part, what we got to do. There was coloring, playing with barbies, swinging at the park, going for a walk, and even some cleaning!
Russell is playing softball with some guys from my work. This was our first time that we were able to go watch him play. I think it felt very cool for the kids to see Russell out there playing.
Like father, like sons. The boys participated in a Longmont High School baseball camp. The head coach was a former Longs Peak teacher, which made me so happy that the boys were in good hands. I was really proud of AJ because he has never played baseball (even though he clearly looks like a natural here). AJ wants to join a team next season and we both thought this would be a good introduction into some of the fundamentals. Ryker earned the "Hustler Award" on the last day of camp. It was fun to see that he immediately picked up on some skills and demonstrated them in his baseball game during this week.
We had a gnarly thunderstorm pass over us before Ryker's baseball game. However, it produced this INSANE double rainbow.
Guh, something so special about seeing your little handwriting from back in the day, paired with your oldest little's handwriting. All on the back of a Yankees hat purchased in NYC on a trip with my parents back in the day.
I will try to keep up with the summer posts as we go. I noticed that this semester was a bit sparse for the posting, alas life happens. We do the best we can! We're off on some crazy adventures this week, stay tuned.
Love,
mMomma
