Nationals

This kid and his team made it to Nationals with their robotics team! What a ride….There was quite a bit of drama that came from another team member and his father during Nationals. This was unfortunate, but I'm very big into finding meaning in things these days. So here's what I have so far. Although what happened was ridiculous to AJ, it allowed Russell and I to step up as parents and protect our kid. It also allowed us to band together and let AJ know that IT WAS US together-not him by himself.

AJ hung on throughout this season, and he learned a bunch. We are all excited for next year because they are crafting the team they want, with people they want. So I look forward to AJ getting a bigger chance to show his skills and learn even more.

Here's to working through hard things, and help teach AJ skills that will benefit him for life. OH and always learning how to be a better parent-high five.

Love,
Mom
