Ryker Lee is no longer elementary school kid! It was so interesting because I was definitely caught up in the hustle and bustle of the end of the year-both at my school and with the kids. I didn't even really process that I might feel emotional about this whole thing until I got to my seat and saw Ryker walk in. HOW THE HECK did I not think about it...I truly don't know. But I had all these feelings...like it has happened. Only one left here in elementary. Time does go so fast and sometimes so slow, but mostly fast.
I asked Ryker if he wanted a special outfit for his continuation, and boy did he. He really went for it, and I just love that he is confident in himself.
So next year will be fun and interesting! He'll join AJ. I'm really hope he tries some new things and finds new friends. I hope he feels comfortable in exploring middle school in the ways he wants and does not feel the need to follow in AJ's footsteps!
I'm stoked to bring both boys to school in the morning! It will be a whole different experience! YAY Ryker! So proud of you!
