Nah-things are going really well...but I'm just getting so antsy to see this little one. A friend couple of ours just had their little one last night (shoutout to Rowan) and I can't tell you how much that makes me sooo excited for ours:)
The weekly midwife appointments start NOW & will continue on until this little one comes out. At this latest appointment (today)- we saw a different midwife, which was good to get to know her since the midwives share on-call. But funny story-she measured me & quietly said something as she was writing. I wasn't quite paying attention-so then she gets out the doppler to hear the baby. 150---138---Baby is facing the way it should, head is down. And then I realize what she had mumbled when she measured me...39..... Did you say 39 weeks is what I'm measuring??? Her reply-well I tend to measure longer than Karen (whatever that means). So again-I am measuring 4 weeks ahead of schedule....Ahh that would explain midnight feedings again! I swear this baby is going to be shooting basketballs 5 minutes out of the womb with this growth rate stuff:)
We watched a waterbirth-and again I cannot watch a birth video without wanting to cry. It's so magical--and I just can't wait! I can't wait to try water-I hope we get the opportunity...but I repeat to myself & to others reading, WHATEVER we need to do to deliver a healthy baby is the priority.
Today- Della & I put away the last of the clothes. I can officially say that the room is done. See pics below...Those keeping up on Facebook can see that Russ put up the Frog thingy in the bathroom (after my weekly bantering--when you going to hang the frog? what about the frog? you could hang the frog tonight!)
