4th of July!

We had a great fourth!  It was one of those days when we knew we wanted to do something, had all kinds of things we could do and decided as we went.  Sure was nice to not always have everything planned out!

Once we got going we decided to go pickup some fireworks to light off.  It was one of those situations when you say, "You know you're not in Nebraska when..."  We seriously drove around the whole town before we found a fireworks stand.  AND then when we got there, we have a VERY limited selection.  That's what happens when there are fires/fire potentials everywhere, but we made do.

We had some swimming, some eating, and then some fireworks.

It was all fun and games until the noises started and both Patrick and Ryker had a bit of an adjustment period.  Patrick was good within seconds, and Ryker and I had to watch from behind the garage window.

It really was hilarious because Ryker would be crying while the loud ones went off, but still saying, "MORE, MORE".  Kid just couldn't contain himself!

After this we headed out to Longmont's big firework show!  First time seeing it and it was great!  AJ and Patrick were rather fascinated by the finger lights Grandpa and Grandma sent-so that kept them busy.  AND Ryker was ready to bed and antsy!

Such a great RELAXING, great friend time, holiday!

Love,
Momma
