Oh Ryke

I know I've mentioned this before, but seriously we are in full-fledged toddlerhood with Ryke! He has decided that he is most definitely an early riser. 5am. And it doesn't appear to matter what time we put him to bed-7pm or 830pm. So you see the light in this picture?

That's Ryke on our couch watching videos on trains, on the iPad. We shall see if he stays over there, but so far it's great. Russ can sleep an extra hour, and I can nurse without Ryke climbing all over me! Despite his trying times, the kid is still a hoot. Yesterday at daycare he decided to pull the lamp down, which broke the bulb and caused a big mess for Becky. Immediately after timeout he was up to no good again. Have I mentioned Becky doesn't get paid nearly enough?

It's funny because whenever we look into Rykes future Russ and I immediately pictures him in high school/college getting into trouble or being a complete rascal! I will make sure we don't share our predictions with him-we don't need any self-fulfilling prophecies going on!
